Pete Larkin

Pete has enjoyed photography since childhood, developing a more focused and creative approach over the past two decades. His work spans a variety of subjects, although he is increasingly drawn to abstract and impressionistic interpretations of the landscape.

 

Using techniques such as intentional camera movement, long exposures and close-up studies, Pete often responds instinctively to his surroundings rather than carefully pre-planning compositions. He finds particular inspiration in the energy of storms, waves and moving water, where motion and atmosphere become central visual elements. Photography remains for him an enjoyable process of exploration and experimentation.
