Dave Newby

Dave has a strong enthusiasm for landscape photography, combining his love of the countryside with a desire to capture the atmosphere and emotional impact of the places he visits. His photographic journeys frequently take him through woodlands, mountains and river valleys in search of compelling light and balanced composition.

 

While landscapes remain central to his work, Dave also enjoys photographing sport, wildlife and a wide range of other subjects. Photography has broadened his horizons, leading him to locations and experiences he might never otherwise have encountered. His aim is always to convey the sense of wonder he feels when standing in the landscape itself.
