Anthony Clarke

Anthony’s interest in photography began during his school years when the gift of an enlarger introduced him to the magic of the darkroom. That early fascination has continued into a lifelong involvement with the medium, now primarily through digital practice.

 

While his photography covers a broad range of traditional subjects, portraiture and architectural studies hold particular appeal. Drawing on a professional background in structural engineering, Anthony is especially interested in form, pattern and perspective within the built environment. His images often explore dynamic viewpoints and the influence of changing light on architectural structure.
